I have some Taltys from Co.Clare in my family. They were the cousins of my g-grandpa, Sinon Breen, who was born in 1880 in Co.Clare. The genealogy chart I have isn't very specific in that it doesn't show any dates. It does show that Kate Ryan married Thomas Talty. They lived in Kilimer Co.Clare. It looks as though they lived in Donegrogue Castle, but I don't know anything about this castle or if it was really a castle. Their children were Michael, Hugh, CATHERINE, Thomas, John, Ciss, Peter, and Gretta. Maybe this is the Catherine you are talking about. These children were my g-grandpa's cousins. I would be interested to know more about the Talty's from Co.Clare. I hope this helps you.
