I researching the Tapley name I found that Quintin Publications, Rhode Island, is making photo copies of hard to get books. I was able to order a photo copy of the book, Genealogy of the Tapley Family by Harriet sylvester Tapley for $32.00. It's also available on CD for about half the price. While it is not as good as having the origional book written in 1900, it is none the less a valuable resource. It takes about 6 weeks to get.
I ordered a cd from these people named the Waldo genealogy. I got it and it works OK. Uses adobe acrobat to view each page of the actual book. I wanted to let other's in this group know so they might take advantage. The person at Quintin said it is legitamite for him to make such copies as the copy write protections have long expired. Don't know too much about that.
