I have recently started researching the my great grandmothers ancestors. She was the daughter of Joseph Fletcher Tapley of Little River, New Brunswick, Canada. I have traced her 5th great grandparents back to John Tapley born 1638 in England and died abt 1693 in Salem, Mass. He was married to Elizabeth Pride daughter of John Pride on 6 Dec 1663. He arrived in the US abt 1658. His great grandson was James Robert Tapley born in Kittery, Me 1754 and died in Oromocto NB 1799 and he was married to Mary Bryan in 1782. Sorry but I dont know of the brothers.
