Theny Tapley was probably the daughter of Goldman Tapley. In "Tapley, A Family History of Georgia and the South" by Ray Tapley, she is listed as the daughter of Adam Tapley and Anne Brannen. The evidence given for this is that she married in Jefferson Co GA and Adam lived briefly in Jefferson Co some years before she married. I believe her to be the daughter of Goldman Tapley because he provided security in the suit she brought against the estate of her husband, Nathaniel Ennis. Goldman is listed in the 1820 GA census as being over 45 years with 1 male 10-16, 1 male 16-26; 1 female 16-26, 1 female 45 & older. The two young males are her brothers, William and Wiley. I haven't found any information on the sister. I also haven't found the name of Goldman's wife.
Theny and Nathaniel Ennis had a son, Nathaniel Tapley Ennis (1818-1862) who married Martha Milner in Pike Co GA in 1846. I have been unable to discover who the other siblings were but would also appreciate any information pertaining to them.
