I should have guessed that based on your last name :)

My husband is descended from Alexander Tapley b 1811 d 1888 buried in Upper Queensbury Cemetery York Co NB. I too am trying to learn about the earlier Tapleys to figure how he links to either of Huldah's brothers - Alexander or Samuel. This is why I was interested in Alexander's son Nathaniel. There is a family tradition that our Tapley is descended from Francis Drake. Two Tapley's married Drake - one is Nathaniel's son (also Nathaniel) who married Catherine Drake. The other is a John or Asa/el who married Mary Drake. My quest is to figure out these early Tapleys and their families to see if Alexander b 1811 could fit in somewhere!

I have begun gathering information on Huldah and Asa Kimball as I have always been interested in what happened to them. Seems like they settled in Maine but am unsure of exactly where - Bridgton? Found some Kimball in Bethel - are they related? Would love to exchange more information with you. off the boards.
