I am very familiar with Augusta-and the Augusta Gen. Society, and Library.
I gave a talk in Evans Ga. not long ago-and got to visit the Columbia Co Court house-where I was surprised to be able to still copy old books... and both these libraries, plus a couple more.(I was talking at the new one Evans-)
My daughter worked in just about every hospital there---and I visited a lot..many years ago. (Augusta)
