What's also interesting is that Mary Hubble's father, William, appears to have had a sister, Sarah Hubble, who m. Samuel Tapley's uncle, also Samuel Tapley.

Ammon Hubble of Burton (d. 8APR1848), Sunbury Co., NB made his will 9APR1844. He mentions William Hubble of Canada (i.e., Ontario), Sarah Tapley of Carleton Co, NB, Elizabeth Peabody of Woodstock Parish, Carleton Co, NB. These would appear to be some of Ammon's children. Sarah Tapley appears to be the widow, Sarah (b. ca. 1785), mother of Henry (b. ca. 1811) and James (b. ca. 1825) Tapley in Wicklow Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1851. This means that Sarah (Hubble) Tapley was the widow of Samuel Tapley, s/o Alexander and Sarah (Hood) Tapley, Samuel's uncle as well as name-sake. I would guess Elizabeth Peabody to be the Elizabeth (b. ca. 1793, d. 1877), wife of James Brown Peabody (ca. 1788-1853), in Woodstock Parish in 1851. This is not the only connection between the Peabody's and Tapley's as Huldah Tapley (Samuel's aunt) m. Oliver Peabody. It would appear that the Hubble's were more than casually connected, and had similar origins as the Tapley's.

Thomas
