JOHN TAPPIN, KILLANNE ,CO.WEXFORD, IRELAND.

While researching in connection with producing a graveyard book for the area of Killanne,Enniscorthy, Co.Wexford Ireland I came across a ledger type tombstone for a JOHN TAPPIN who died aged 85/86 (not fully legible) in the year 1871. I discovered his name in parish registers with an address at Coolbawn, where a large Anglo-Irish house of the same name existed. This man may have been a land steward or employed in another position at this house, but this is speculation. Anyone interested would be welcome to contact me. Gloria.
