My father was Archibald Henry Tappin (born 1915(?) Islington, N.London - died 1982 Edgware Middlesex)
His father was Edward Tappin his mother Edith. An elder sister (Blanche) survied to circa 1986. Brothers included John, Henry and unknow others.

My father changed his name to Henry John Tapping to join Army under age (!) @1929 hence our 'Tapping' There are 4 survivng children, my mother, who has reverted to 'Tappin'as has my brother Michael, and large quantities of grandchildren (mostly Tappings)

I am about to commence a large family tree project to complete as and when, and
would be interested if you think there are any links.
