Hi,
My great-great-(great?)-grandfather William Cox married Eliza Targett around the beginning of the nineteenth century. William was a tenant farmer in Weston-Supermare. I had relatives in Evercreach until the mid-1970's, when my great aunt Bertha died.
My grandmother, Daisy Cox, married Edward Baker (my grandfather) sometime during World War I and came back to Canada in 1918. They settled near Moose jaw, Saskatchewan. My great-grandfather (Edward?) Baker, was a locomotive engineer for the Canadian Pacific Railway, and was killed in a wreck in 1876 (?) leaving a large family, the children of which were dispersed to various apprenticeships when his widow remarried. As a consequence we have very little in the way of coroborating information for my Grandmother's reminiscences.
I hope this helps a little.
