I believe the information I gave you is correct, a couple of years ago I looked up John Tarnow in the 1900 census -
Lost my 1900 census so I can not give exact names

John Tarnow (born abt 1864 in Germany – note all of William and Elisa’s sons were born in Germany) & wife (seems like she may have been listed as a Minnie?) along with one son named William (born 1885) (Which is whom my brother-in-law descends)
They were living next door to another Tarnow –
a William & wife and children were named almost identical to the generation before him – I compared the two families and have to admit – that could get very confusing!

I list 10 children for William & Elisa
– you mentioned 9 children to William & Elise

I recently saw the lady with the Tarnow family information – and told her what was found in the 1900 census, she was very interested as she has not done any family research. At any rate I have emailed her and asked she verify the information I gave.
