This is from the book "The Darter-Tarter-Daughters Family" Bertha Van Mondfrans Darter, William Alexander Darter.

Blazer Darter must have died shortly after the will was written because his name does not appear in the records after that time.

Blazer married Magdelina Wampler, who was born in Virginia; they had six known children : 1. John Darter who changed his name to Tarter, was b:1769, NC. As a young man he left Virginia and went to Pulaski Co; Ky. in 1788, and he was one of the first settleres there.
This John is sometimes confused with John(Johannes) the son of Johannes Dotter
who was also in NC and then came to Kentucky and had a wife Catherine.
John, the son of Balzer, married Nancy Logan in 1789 and they had a large family of 11 children:
1.Christian Logan (after his mother's maiden name)b:1790 was called "Christley" or "Big Chris" (Tibblas History of Kentucky) He m: Betsy (Elizabeth) Trimbel 23 Nov.1817 and five of his children are:
1. Squire Tarter who m: Polly Schoolcraft
1 Sept 1849 in Pulaski Co.Ky. and only one son is known, Wesley Monroe Tarter who m: Narcissus Tucker and they had seven children all b: in Sushine,
Russell Co. Ky: Mollie, Dr. Ballard Tarter,
Joseph, Elmer E., Jennie M., Crisman or Christian V. and Lola Tarter.

Children of John Darter or Tarter b:abt:1769 NC. and Nancy Logan: b:1770 Ky.
1.Christian Logan(Christley), Polly, Jacob,
Jesse, Nancy, Milly, Betsy, Sally, William,
Alfred, Ceala.
Hope this helps.
