Does anyone know if Elizabeth Tarter Burton (ca. 1796->1849) had brothers and sisters? If so, who were they? Elizabeth's parentage has been a mystery for a very long time. Elizabeth's family was probably one of the early Tarter families in Pulaski County, Kentucky during the early 19th century. The name of her grandson, Chrisley Burton (1853-1939), is surely a name bestowed upon him in honor of a Tarter relative or ancestor. It is not a name previously known in the Burton family. Any information or insights will be most helpful.
