" Peter Kinder, Robert Cowden, George Wampler. and John Copenhaver have been "plotted" just North east of Rural Retreat VA by F. B. Kegley and Mary B. Kegley. Kegley page 207 Same book Wythe County Will Book One Darter (Tarter), Balzer, will written February 17, 1800, probated March 11, 1800 )pp 149-150) mentions wife Magdalen (Magdalena), three youngest sons Frederick, Christian and Daniel the youngest, other sons not mentioned by name; daughters Margaret, Catharine, brother Nannikel ( Hannuikel); {Some have interpreted this name as Nicholas} executors, wife and John Stanger.
