Rose, glad to help...I have most of the information on Lula's parents, but forgot to bring it with me. Enos P. Tarter s/o Joel B. Tarter and Mary Tucker, born 18 May 1884 in Kentucky, died 9 January 1946 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky. Lula Phillips d/o James Phillips and Nancy ?, born 1 March 1892 in Kentucky and died 19 September 1958 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky. From documents I have seen, Enos & Lula may have been married sometime in the 1920s. Children of Enos & Lula: LIVING Tarter, born 5 April 1929 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. LIVING Tarter, born 11 October 1930 in Pulaski County, Kentucky and married Betty Louise Cundiff. Bertie Jean Tarter, born 30 May 1932 in Pulaski County, Kentucky died 5 October 1999 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. She is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Somerset. Bertie never married. More info on Betty Louise Cundiff (Betty was her given name): Born 28 August 1933 in Somerset. Parents were Robert Jasper Cundiff and Hazel Buchanan. Mother Hazel died young and Robert married her sister Ethel Buchanan. Betty passed away not too long ago, 12 October 2006 in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky. She was buried in Lexington Cemetery. Betty married LIVING Tarter on 23 December 1953 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. They were divorced ca 1969. Two living children from this marriage (including my mother). Betty had another child while in Lexington in the early 1970s. He is living and goes by the name Tarter. My mother and her half brother just met, so more will be known of this later. Betty then married LIVING Moffett 26 March 1980 in Lexington. They were divorced, but no date. Well, this is a lot of information. Where do James & Nancy or Lula connect in your family history? I hope this information helps and I know it is easy to search and find the names of the living individuals. Anyone who uses this information, please keep living individuals names private.
