Hi Jered,

Thanks for the information on Enos P. Tarter and his family. I try to ALWAYS honor the privacy of the people in my files.

I have been working on the Darter/Tarter family and a lot of those which connect to it....the Wamplers, Winingers, Weddles, Trimbles, Turpins, Hounshells, Schoolcrafts and the many others which connect to both spellings of the surname..... for a few years now.

I am from a line of the family which retained the Darter spelling of the name.....tho I still have no idea of the original spelling of the surname. I have seen quite a few versions of the original spelling !!
