Hello Eloise and also Susan,

I am searching for a Tarter family.

Might your notes on this family include a Zela Tarter? She had at least three children: Wilmouth Tarter (m. William Thomas); Cleo Tarter (m. John W. Warren); and Son, Granville Thomas who was in the newspaper business around Monticello later in life.

Wilmouth was born in 1862 and married Dr.James James W. Castillo in 1887. Cleo was born in 1862 and married John W. Warren in 1881.

I really could use some help in locating the parents of Cleo and Wilmouth, as well as those of John W. Warren.

I would estimate the birth of Zela Tarter around 1840.

Thank you for your assistance.
