John William Tarter was my uncle. He was the brother of my father Jerrell Dean Tarter. My name is Jerry Tarter.

I never met my grandfather, Jesse Walling Tarter, because of his death prior to my birth. My father gave me the following information on both my grandfather and grandmother: Jesse Walling Tarter, born November 25, 1865; died January 20, 1936. Centhelia (Fely) Emmarine Lovett Tarter, born December 2, 1875; died February 21, 1936. Both died in Parker, Texas and both are buried there. I have visited their graves but can't recall the exact location.

I, too, am a complete novice at this and was shocked to see your message on my very first attempt to gather information on our family. I hope the information is useful to you.
