Roger,

I know the origin of the Darter-Tarter family...at least as far as anyone has been able to document.

I show only eight children born to Ephraim Tarter and Elizabeth Jane Hounshell. What is your line of the family.?

As for Indian kinship, it seems that everyone who says they have Indian blood always say they are Cherokee, as tho they were the only Indian tribe in the USA.

Most people I meet want to know where the Indian fits in, yet as far as I have been able to determine, there is none...of any tribe...in my line of the family..!!

If you wish to communicate by e-mail, I would be glad to do so,

Rose vortex3@suddenlink.net
