Missouri has death certificates online and I printed off one of Calvin Tarter. b. 12-24-1830 d. 4-11-1991 in Clinton, Mo. I copied it because my husband's grandmother Lena Lincoln Tarter who m. Harry Redd was in Clinton, Mo before they moved to SE Kansas, where they died and are buried.

The DC lists Calvin as age 80 years, 3 months, and 17 days. He was a retied farmer. He cied of a cerebral Hemmorage. His birth place is difficult to read but it looks like Adair County, Kentucky and he was the son of Peter Tarter who was b. in Virginia, and Polly Pearce who also was b. in Virginia. Calvin was buried April 10, 1991 but I cannot read the name of the cemetery but it was Clinton, Missouri. The informant for this information was Ruban--hard to read--Tarter of Clinton, MO
