Hi John,
I was so excited to receive your message. I believe my paternal grandmother, Anna Tedesco, is Carl's sister.

My father was Joseph Cannizzaro, the son of Anna. She had four other children, Mary, Angelina, Michael and Catherine. They grew up on the lower East Side of Manhattan. My Aunt Mary's son (see above), Thomas Zarbo, was about the same age as my father and he and my father traveled to Council Bluffs when they were young men. While in Council Bluffs,Thomas met a distant cousin who he subsequently married. I believe her name was Mary Palladino. I remember meeting relatives from Council Bluffs when they came to New York when I was a young girl.

My father died in 1956 and I do not know very much about the Tedesco family - I would love to hear more about them. My husband has been doing quite a lot of family research that I would be happy to share with you. If you would like a copy of his reasearch you can e-mail me your address and I would be more than happy to send it to you. My e-mail address is: JandMJenkinson@earthlink.net

I very much look forward to hearing from you.
