Dear Dominic,

I have been researching my family tree and in my grandfather's funeral book a Olympia Lombardo signed it. My grandfather was Louis L. Lombardi from New Haven, CT and Key Largo, FL.

I found out from an older cousin that Olympia was a Macri cousin. I have been unable to find out exacty how.

This is what I did find, Olympia Macri died May 7, 1972, she was married to Nicholas Lombardo, born: Sept. 10, 1895 and died May 31, 1962. They lived in Milford, CT. and had one daughter Lucille who was married and widowed. (last name unknown).

Olympia's parents were Marie C. Macri - 1879-1946, her father was Nicholas G. Macri - 1879-1950. She had a brother Armond, 1916-1955.
She had a sister, Teresa Macri Baroncini, 1901-1975, and one other sister, Lorraine Macri Mascola, 1910-1983.

All of the above are buried in St. Lawrence Cemetary in West Haven, CT.

I have been searching through the Lombardi side, because of the fact that Olympia married a Lombardo, however, my great-great grandmother's name was Julia Eva Tedesco born: January 3, 1876 in Cusano Mutri, Italy and died in Woodbridge, CT on June 3, 1936.

I have no idea if Julia had any brother's or sisters.

Julia married Antonio Petrillo in Cusano Mutri and had two daughters there, Rose and Christina. Then they moved to the U.S. and settled in Woodbridge, CT and had several more children, Catherine (Kitty), Mary, Marion, Julia (Jane), Phyllis, Domenic and Antonio.

I have Julia's death certificate and on it is only her father's last name (Tedesco) and her mother' maiden name was Marianna Franco from Cusano, Mutri, Italy.

If any of the above names sound familiar please contact me directly at AuntieP61@aol.com. I would really love to make this connection for my tree.

One other note, while visiting another family member at a cemetary in East Haven, CT I came by a headstone for Antonio Tedesco, March 9, 1911 - March 22, 1986, and his wife Miriam Tedesco, August 14, 1926 - November 28, 1982.
I have no idea who these people were, but I took the information just in case.

I hope this is a direct hit!

Phyllis
