My maternal grandfather is Norman Schifano, who lives in Birmingham (as does most of my family). He also married a Sara. It's possible that your grandmother and my grandfather were related. Paw-paw's mother was from Sicily, though I'm not sure how young she was when she came to the US and I'm not sure when she came to Alabama.
