Hi Bill,
Thanks for the info.No prob on time to reply.I was gone all weekend and didn't have access to internet.(Scrapbooking camp), and I certainly don't expect you to drop everything to help me.I appreciate all you have done.
So would my father have to submit to a DNA test?Or my brother?I don't think anyone else in the family has, and two of the brothers are deceased, as well as all grandparents.
My fathers birth certificate was no help as his adopted-stepfather was listed. However, my aunt had some info that got me a little farther yesterday.I'm still having difficulty with exact birthdates, and don't have anything much in way of death dates. But I was able to get names dating back to 1819 on my grandfather's side. Thanks for your input and all of your efforts.I so appreciate it.I also found a relative that shares some commonality names and he wrote to me.I am farther than him, though. But at least we are all willing to help each other.Maybe I can pay it forward from what you did for me.: ]
