We are on the Telford-L Rootsweb mailing list, researching this name.
It looks to me as if the death certificate probably read:
phthisis pulmonary -
- tuberculosis of the lung.Very common in those days.
Is it OK to put your family names John and Elizabeth & dates on the Telford-L list for their information? There are a lot of us researching in different parts of the world.
My husband and I will be in Annan area staying at Moffat in August - we live in Herefordshire and are going to Scotland for Clan gathering and visiting son who lives in Aberdeenshire. My husband has ancestors from border area.
Thanks for info.
