TELFORD -COULSON-THOMPSON of Haltwhistle, Northumberland, England
I am researching the following families in Northumberland. The following entries are taken from the Bishop's Transcripts of the Haltwhistle parish registers:
February 5, 1780. Marriage. "George Taleford and Elizabeth Coulson both of this parish were married in this church by banns this 5th day of February 1780 by me John Farrer, Curate."
February 5, 1780. Baptism. "Thomas, son of George and Elizabeth Taleford of the Rawfoot."

December 18, 1810. Burial. "Jane Tealford, wife of George Tealford of the township of Coanwood labourer in this parish, died Dec. 16, buried Dec. 18, aged 80."
June 9th, 1830. Burial. "Thomas Telford, Fell House, buried June 9th, aged 51 years."
Thomas Telford married Hannah Thompson on May 15, 1809 in Haltwhistle. Their offspring:
John Telford, bapt. May 24, 1812, Allendale registers.
Bessy Telford, bapt. Jan 13, 1811, Allendale registers.
George Telford, bapt. Dec 29, 1817, Haltwhistle registers.
Septimus Telford, bapt. Jun 2, 1822, Haltwhistle registers.
Thomason Telford, bapt. Feb 18, 1821, Haltwhistle reg.
Edward Telford, bapt. Jan 3, 1819, Haltwhistle reg.
James Telford, bapt. Feb 8, 1824, Haltwhistle reg.
Baptism from Allendale parish registers:
"Bessy Telford daughter of Thomas Telford and his wife Hannah Thompson, born January 13, 1810, baptised January 13, 1811."
Is Hannah Thompson a daughter of William and Jane Thompson of Allendale? Found baptism record in Allendale registers:
"October 30, 1778, Hannah Thompson, daughter of William and Jane Thompson."
I am interested in contacting other persons who might be researching these family names in the Haltwhistle vicinity. It would be nice to exchange information and work together on extending these lines further back.
