I would like to udate my earlier post regarding Adam and Frances TENER's family. We recently obtained an obituary for their son Charles Tener (b. 24 Nov 1822 d. 4 Mar 1903 in Hillsboro, OH). The person submitting the information for the obituary said that "thirteen children composed his father's family." The Census of 1830 for Twin Twp, Ross Co, OH shows 13 children in Adam's family. Of equal importance, the obituary states Charles was born in northern Ohio. Based on land transactions, Adam Tener was in Jefferson Co, OH from 1813 to 1815 and in Perry Twp, Wayne Co (now Ashland Co) between 1815 and 1826. This is most likely where many of their children were born. By 1853, there may have been only 10 children surviving their mother when she died in August. My use of the term "complete" list of their children was not correct in light Charles' obituary.
