My grandson inlaw, is a Teran b in Alameda County CA, his greatgrandfather was Joseph M. TERAN b 1801 they say Texas, I say Parral, Chihuahua Mx. I have a border crossing of 30 Jan 1910, with father, Lorenzo b San Lorenzo, Chihuahua Mx, wife Manuela b Parral, Chihuahua Mx, daughter Clara b (no town) Chihuahua Mx, and son Joseph Maria b Parral Chihuahua Mx. the 1920 El Paso etc census only has Lorenzo Teran as a widower, 1920 I find Joseph Teran as a boilermaker in San Francisco Ca, and in 1930 in Alameda County, Ca md with 3 children.
On the border crossing there is an aunt named Sofia Teran on 5th street El Paso, and cousins named Orona also of El Paso. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
Thank You, Kathleen
