Hello Richard,
I can help with only one of your questions...#2.
Garret^5 Terhune, husband of Willempie Wyckoff, was the s/o Garret^4, the s/o Roelof^3, the s/o Jan^2, s/o Albert Albertszn^1 (the Terhune immigrant).
Garret's mother, Alice Stephense Van Voorhees is my primary brick wall. At one time she was identified as the d/o Stephen Coerte VV & Agatha Janse Van Dyke - BUT the dates simply don't compute. To date, we have found *nothing* substantive to identify her parents.

Source of Garret^5 parents/baptism:
THE GENEALOGY MAGAZINE OF NEW JERSEY
REGISTER OF BAPTISMS:
Vol. 18, pg. 8:
DATE......CHILD........PARENTS......WITNESSES
1750
Feb. 25...Gerret...GERRET TERHUN and ALTE.

Wish I could be more helpful.
