So glad you responded to my message!

Alas I did receive the marriage license and it only listed the country of parents birth. Can you believe it. I waited months for that license only to retrieve the date of marriage (I was darn close without the license). Anyway I have now requested the death certificate hoping it will list the parents. I now know that "Walter" Frank actually went by "Frank". His marriage license even has "Frank" on it. The Family Bible has him as "Walter Frank", so who knows what his full given name was. I am highly suspect of a John Terhune & a Nicholas Terhune as possibly his father. John declared residence and mustered out of the Civil War in Hartford CT. Nicholas has showed up in the CT census as early as 1840. And a Sarah living with William & Edward in Hartford in 1880, near Frank & Annie with their baby daughter Mary (my ggrandmother). This Sarah was born in MA and is probably his mom but until I have proof I will not add her to my files. Anyway this is probably more than you want to know. Thanks again and Oh by the way...where are your Terhunes from? Agi
