Terhune connection - 1900s New Jersey

My name is Sheila Lennon Klivak and I am researching my grandfather's family. His name is Joseph M. McDonald of 140 Larch Avenue, Bogota, New Jersey. He died on July 14,1925, with his wife, Mary Roby McDonald and their daughter Mrs S.P.Terhune from Bogota at his side. He had been a Colonel with the 47th New York Volunters in the Civil War and had lived most of his life in New York City. He arrived in this country from Ireland when he was a small child. He and his wife had three sons and six daughters, one of whom was Mrs. S.P. Terhune. My father, Francis Roby Lennon, was the son of Mrs. Agnes(Augustine) Lennon of West Haven, Connecticut. My father died on April 16, 1980. Do you have any information on this Terhune family and if so, on any relatives of my generation? To clarify, my father's mother, Mrs.Agnes McDonald Lennon was Mrs. S.P. Terhune's sister.

Thank you,

Sheila
