Not sure if you check the forum much since your post is from 2001. I'm working to recreate research that my Grandfather did (George Albert Terhune) in tracing back to Albert Albertse. His grandfather was Richard Albert Terhune b.c. 1849. His wife was Frances Jane Wain b.c. 1851. My grandfather indicated a missing generation above Richard that he couldn't locate because of missing birth records. I'd love to find a birth certificate for Richard. Maybe the "Wain" name for your Frances' mother will help. Let me know if you have anything that might confirm Richard's parents. Thanks, Sharon
