i'm looking for another one of my Elliott's that married into the Terrell's.

His name is Andrew Jackson Terrell aka 'Jack'.

On the 1880 Spice Valley Twp, Lawrence Co IN census is listed John Terrell Jr 35 IN NC IN with children:
son Albion 11 IN IN IN works on farm
dau Mary L 9 IN IN IN
son Andrew J 6 IN IN IN

(1905 South Dakota census is a Albion Terrell b 1873 IN)

Not finding John Jr on the 1870 census, tho he's on the 1900, 1910 & 1920.
Anyone know what John he's a son of?

i can find Andrew or "Jack" on the 1900 cenus:
Headquarters Staff & Band 2nd Artillary, Cuba, Armed Forces - Foreign Countries (Artillary Defense of Havana Cuba) listed as Andrew J Terrell (Cpl) b JUN 1874 IN IN IN - His address lised as Huron IN

He's then listed in San Diego Co CA in 1910 & 1920 as single.

Sometime he's married Hettie Elliott. She's the dau of Peter who died in San Diego Co CA. His ashes were taken back to IN where he was buried with his wife Susan (Watson) Elliott (d 1923) in the Elliott Cemetery.

i can find both Hettie and A. J. Terrell on the CA death index. There is listed his mother's maiden name as Sutherland, father's last name: Terrell.
Andrew Jackson Terrell b 19 JUN 1874 IN d 23 JUL 1948 San Diego Co CA
Her parents listed as mother's maiden Watson, father Elliott
Her dates are b 13 FEB 1880 IN d 12 DEC 1955 San Diego Co CA (she was born in Martin Co IN)

Does anyone know when and where they married?

Any other info anyone can provide on these families would be great!

Thank you for your help!
