Andrew Jackson Terrell of Wake Co., NC About 1800

Massive confusion here and hoping that someone can help. My Jackson Terrell is my gggg grandfather. He is listed in some deeds as Andrew Jackson Terrell. I am showing that he is the father of the following daughters: Caroline (married Larkin Smith), Elizabeth (married Orrin Smith), and Jane (married Rufus Smith). All Smith men were brothers and all from Wake County NC. I cannot find anything else on Jackson Terrell or who he married and the mother of his daughters. He has to be born somewhere around 1800 and died before 1870. I know this because the state of NC settled his estate and the following children/grandchildren are listed in the settlement of his estate:
Martha A. and John P. Robinson
L and Laura Jordan
Sarah, Martha, Virginia, Charlie, Emma, and Claudius Smith and their guardian, Larkin Smith
Gaston Williams and wife Laura, Albert Smith, G. Broughton, Mary Thaddeus Smith, Elizabeth Smith and their guardian, Orrin Smith
Edgar Smith, Thomas Smith, Lenora Smith, and their guardian, Rufus Smith.
All three daughters and mother of these children were all dead by this time.

There is a connection with Solomon Terrell. There are deeds that Soloman left Jackson Terrell in control of his estate and all his land was to be left to his heirs. In my gg grandfathers will it is stated that the "Terrell property" that was left to Caroline, which was the old Robertson property. So I have always felt that the Solomon that married Amelia Robertson was either him or brother. Another thing is that why would Solomon leave Jackson in control of his life's estate and pass on to his heirs if there was no connection and also Mary A. Terrell is in the division of Jackson Terrell's estate.

I pray that someone can help me figure this puzzle out.
Heather Smith
