Oh wow, this is wonderful news! I have not heard of Emma Dicken, but will look it up. Are you local? The reason that I ask is because I still live on the family farm and have reunited with Orrin's gg grandchildren over the summer. I have found my 2nd great grandfather, Larkin Smith and Rufus Smith's graves but have not succeeded in finding Orrin's gravesite, but I do know that he is buried very close to where I live. Jane Terrell had sisters, Caroline, whom is my 2nd great grandmother, and Elizabeth whom married the other brother, Orrin. The strange thing is that all 3 sisters died within the same time frame, of what I don't know. I do know that Caroline is buried on the farm but do not know where Elizabeth and Jane are buried. I am still looking for this.

Edwin is my 3rd great grandfather and he married twice. First to Elizabeth Taylor. They had two sons, Orrin and Larkin. He married secondly to Eliza A. Smith (don't know maiden name yet)and they had the following children, Rufus A. Smith, Nancy A. Smith, Mary A. Smith, Lucius A. Smith, and Edwin Jefferson Smith. This is according to family records. I have alot of information on the Smith side because we still live here. Edwin was very close to all of his children and that is obvious in his deeds and will.

Do you by chance have any idea who Caroline, Jane, and Elizabeth's mother was? I am going to look up the documentation that you speak of and see where that leads me. Thank you so much for your response. I look forwards to hearing from you again.

Heather Smith
