Fred, thanks for your info. I thought you had my info.

I have no documentation for this but it was provided to me by the LeVasseur Association. He married (2) Mary Foey aft. 1836.

** Joseph Tacia, born July 12, 1833 is my line.
He married Julia Ann Campeau Aprial 21, 1856 in St Luc L'
Evangeliste, Curran, Compte de Prescott, York, Ontario, Canada. She was born September 29, 1837 in Quebec, Canada and died in 1867 in Michigan.

Children of Joseph Tacia and Julia Campeau are:

4. Benjamin John Tacia, b. October 4, 1862, New York, d. 1944 Alpena, MI

Ellen married John E. Milligan October 19, 1874.

My name comes from Joseph Tacia Jr. and Margaret Wamsley's first child. It has been handed down through the generations with them all using a nick name. I am the only one we know of who was truly called Nina, pronounced with a long I sound.

If you would like more information, please let us know. We have more than most sites accept but my husband said he can post to the web or we can put it on a disc for you. There are about 10,000 names in our data base right now. Some is documented, some is from family. I am now quite anxious to get as much done as possible as I have Multiple Sclerosis and have had a relapse which has really slowed me down and has effected my eysight and typing skills. Would appreciate any and all help you can share. Thanks in advance.
