I have an excellent genealogical dictionary for Canada in the early years (from the origins to 1730). Michelle was not the daughter of Urbain. Michel (male) Dubois and Michelle Tessier had a son Jean Dubois who had 3 marriages: (1) 1688 at Quebec city to Catherine Jean; (2) 1693 at Champlain to Jeanne Rault; and (3) 1713 to Antoinette Limousin. Jean Dubois was from St-Bonnet-de-Bellac, arrondissement of Bellac, diocese of Limoges, ancient province of Basse-Marche ( department of Haute-Vienne today), in France. It is likely that his parents were from the same place. His parents did not come to Canada. Michelle was deceased at the time of her son's first marriage in 1688. Unless you go to France or retain a genealogist in France it would be very difficult to trace Michelle's ancestry.
