There was an article in one of the F/C gen mags about 2 years ago. It did a follow up on the lawsuit and noted that the suit documented over 250,000 descendents of Urbain by 1934. They calculated that since all births and marriages are now required to have civil registration since that point, the family is now the largest documented family in North America. There's some kind of formula that calculates the descendency and they came up with an estimate of 1.5mm by 1995.
