Tessier land in Montreal

My name is Tom Nevue and I've just discovered the connection between my family and the Tessier family (see my other message). The Nevue family and Corriveau family (in Yakima, Wash) have been very close but we have not been able to verify yet exactly how we are related. It's interesting that my Uncle (b abt 1925) remembers his father receiving a letter and questionaire (maybe also request for $$) about a claim for land in Montreal. I tried to find any information about this, hoping that there would be a large file showing family genealogy, but I have not been successful. It's probably filed under Tessier.. I see a message stating it is in the Canadian National Archives. It's interesting that one of the Corriveau family told me that they have a similar story.

Can anyone tell me how I could get information from this file ?
