Hello Lorraine (and Aloha to Jerry from the very cold Laurentians!)

I am also interested in a Leon Tessier (my gggrand-father) married to Catherine Robidoux. Looking up records for him (unsuccessfully so far) I found something about "your" Leon. He was married to Jane Porteous on May 25, 1833 in Christ Church (anglican) cathedral in Montreal. Witnesses were William Porteous and Charles Stevenson.
I found record of marriages of their children in the Drouin books but I didn't make notes since they didn't relate to "my" Leon.
Interesting about the name Leandre, though. That might have been "my" Leon's first name too. And they may have been related.
Leon & Catherine would have been married in the 1830s also.
Good luck - and please wish me the same!
