Aloha MaMere, It is likely that Urbain has over 100,000 living descendants in North America. Of the many unrelated Tessier pioneers who came to Quebec he was the most prolific. He came from the town of Chateau-en-Anjou (called Chateau-la-Valliere today)in the district of Tours, ancient province of Touraine (department of Indre-et-Loire). He was a lumberman but was better known for his exploits with the Iroquois. Best, Jerry
