Hey Reg, thanks for the help. My copy of the reference missed the names of the woman, and I never looked her up at the library. I'm thinking it's very possible that if Joann's grandfather claimed he was related to my family, and yet there's no Frank in the immediate generations, then maybe the closer link is through the Charron-Ducharme side in the closer generations. If he descends from J/B Tessier and Marie Elisabeth Charron-Ducharme, he would still be Prosper's first cousin through the maternal line.

I'll send you an invite to my working copy of my tree at myfamily.com. After all the damage I did, I have about 9000 relatives re-entered. Still have a couple of big gaps to fill in, but it should give you a good idea of all our joint lines.

P.S. Any chance of sharing the Louis Riel line. I'd love to fill it in on my tree.
