Aloha Jack, My info is from Rene Jette's excellent genealogical dictionary of the Quebec families from about 1620 to 1730. Jette would not have shown J-B's 1750 marriage but he does have a J-B born and baptized 16 Aug 1722 at Montreal. Parents were J-B Tessier dit Lavigne (s/o J-B [or Jean] & Louise Caron) and Marie-Clemence Bouchard who married 9 Feb 1722 (looks like their J-B was a bit premature :))in Montreal. Jean (s/o Urbain & Marie Archambeault) and Louise Caron were married 21 April 1688 at Laprairie (across the St. Lawrence River from Montreal). So Urbain was the grandfather of your J-B born in 1722. Best, Jerry from a tiny dot in the middle of the Pacific
