It's always nice to get a response like yours. Mathurin and Urbain are not related. They came from different parts of France. There were a few other early Canadian Tessiers who were not related to either Mathurin or Urbain.
I have no idea what the group is that you cited. Ask the person who posted it.
Your data on the Paul Tessier/Marie-Madeleine Cloutier marriage is about right except the date was 13 not 3 October 1681.
Rattle my chain in a week if I haven't gotten back to you on Cloutier. I am snowed (in Hawaii??) at the moment and don't have time for a lengthy answer. Meanwhile go to the Cloutier page. Zacharie Cloutier and Saint Dupont were Marie-Madeleine's grandparents. Best, Jerry
