Your message is very intriguing. I'm from the Bay City side of the family. The little info available in the Tri-Cities consists mainly of articles from the Bay City Times updating people on the status of the suit and the position of local relatives to allow the Church to maintain the property. Would love to share info with you.

The Tacey/Tessier side from the Thumb and Bay area descend from Urbain primarily through son Ignace and Marguerite Lussier. In the 1840's, a number of Tessier's left Joliette for Goderich/St. Joseph Ontario.

By the 1850s, the majority of the family was continuing to push on. Prosper and wife Henriette settled in Bay County with their kids. Others were noted working on the Sault Locks.

Let me know what you might be interested in.
