Sorry, my mistake. The bigger prog is we're mixing up Joseph's...both the men and the towns.

J/B Tessier and Veronica Charron dite Ducharme settled in the "Frenchtown" settlement near Goderich, in Huron County, Ontario and all of their records are from St. Joseph parish-->Ontario.

You credit Elisabeth as coming from St. Joseph, Michigan...almost 300 miles to the southwest of St. Joseph, Ontario.

J/B and Veronica were living in Huron Co Ontario from 1835 past 1851. Prior to that they were in Joliette, Quebec. Still no connect to Michigan until their children started emigrating right before the US Civil War.
