I'm afraid J/B was a Ducharme who married a Tessier. I've gone through all the Tessier's that I have, can't find any born in that timeframe. You may still try writing Pierre Ducharme, president of the Association Charron Ducharme. As I mentioned in an earlier message, there was a great deal of intermarriage between the Tessier's and the Ducharme's from Joliette. They also moved as a group into Ontario and lived on the shores of Lake Huron, due east of the thumb. That might be another avenue for you, since they are VERY well organized and have 10s of thousands of descendents (both male and female lines) very well documented.
