Urbain Tessier is born in 1624 in the region of Anjou in France.
If you know anything about wine, you know that Anjou is one of the best region of Franch wine.
Urbain Tessier was likely from a wine village of Anjou, and people gave him the "Lavigne" nickname ("Lavigne" translates to "The Grape").
