Again, thanks Jerry and (Jan). I've been looking for this information for many years now and the outcome is somewhat surprising. How on earth the Tessier dit Laplante's got mixed in the story, I do not know.
My eldest brother and father told me that my grandfather spent a lot of money on this litigation, so I guess somehow he got sucked into the scam.
I would love to get a hold of a copy of the litigation papers from the Canadian National Archives or elsewhere. Any idea on how I could obtain these copies? It is the final nail I need to close the coffin.
