Hi Jan and Everyone;
Interesting piece of information! In your #126 posting,you indicate that you have a copy of the lawsuit. Does the document mention a lawfirm? Also, if you could track down the cases that took place over seas, the documents will have the names of the lawyers who represented the families.

My eldelest brother who still lives in Montreal remembers being told that an insurance company in Montreal was also involved.The only insurance company that my family dealt with was Metropolitan.

You also indicate that a Corporation was formed for the Tessier dit Lavinge's. There may a way to track this Corporation . I'll be doing some digging around and will be pleased to share any informaion I come up with.

Would you know how I could obtain a copy of the lawsuit you have obtained from 1930? I would love to get my hands on a copy.

Richard Laplante
